09/10/25

My time at Richard Norton Gallery has come to an end. These past four and a half years have been the most insightful of my life. It was my first full-time job after college, right at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Richard P. Norton and Ms. Susan Klein for their leadership and for opening the doors to the extraordinary world of 20th-century Chicago Modern Art. You have taught me more than I could have ever imagined, and I will forever be grateful for the knowledge and wisdom you have shared with me.

Since my departure, I have traveled to Mexico and California to visit my family. I’ve begun a new body of work that I’m very excited about and have even applied to an artist residency. Chicago is a city full of opportunities, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the future takes me.

Peace and love,
Fabian

Homage to one of the greatest creatives of the 21st century. Your ideas and creations will live on forever. Rest in power Mr. Abloh

Virgil Abloh, 2021, 8.5 x 5.5, graphite, marker, charcoal, color pastel, color pencil, and water color on paper

Been thinking about my next studio project. I’ve been sketching a lot, on the train, at the park, where ever I go I carry a little sketch book. Life is fast, always changing, our time spent on this planet dictates how much as an artist we produce. When we leave whats left behind will be our legacy. Art for people to wear, admire, hang in their homes, inspire the aspiring. Time to get busy. No time like the present.
